"What's in My Makeup Kit?" features my favorite makeup item in my makeup box.
Today's item is "Monistat" for anti-shine.
1. I know what your reaction is... Monistat? Yes, it is for feminine issues. However, this specific Monistat is for chafing relief. It works as an anti-shine product and creates smooth surfaces.
2. When we spray a lot of alcohol-based airbrush ink, skin tends to get tacky and shiny. Since cameras do not like shine, it is better to ease these shines. Just add this cream on top of where you want it to be less shiny. You can also put this over temporary tattoos & hair glues (like Spirit Gum) for removing the shine. And, it also works for regular shine on the skin!
